WCOOP Kaleidoscope: WCGRider won $455k whilst streaming live on twitch and Dan Kelly set a new record in the series

During the recent days a few events at once took place on the WCOOP at PokerStars and we just can’t omit them! Two new records were simultaneously set at online poker tables! Which ones? Watch this.

Douglas “WCGRider” Polk has set a new record whilst streaming live on Twitch

A little bit of surrealism to your feed, as they say. One of the most talented players on the planet (apart from Fedor Holz for sure) has tried to break micro-limits online during a few weeks, but didn’t succeed and put this idea off for uncertain period. Despite haters’ hooting he’s about to get down seriously to WCCOP.

And even though he did not manage to reach ITM zone playing the most expensive tournament, he totally recovered. Today’s night the hero of the article took part in a great deal at WCOOP-53: $10,300 NLHE (8-max, High-Roller) - as a result he got $455.000.

Despite the fact that today our main attention revolves around WCGRider, we should admit one of his opponents is nobody's fool, e.g., the winner of the WCOOP was Phil 'Grindation' Mcallister, who has reached a $3,000,000 rate of his total winnings at PokerStars alone.

Phil 'Grindation' Mcallister

The nickname of the third place dweller, we sure, is already familiar to you. For those who still stay ignorant - €urop€an is cool to the moon and back. He managed to do an impossible thing: in 3-max divide he bargained a prize that exceeded a first-place grant.

It’s amusing, by the way, that Sammy 'European' Woodson didn’t want to spend his second shot on the $10,000 highrollers’ event. But his colleague, Patrick Leonard, persuaded him to. Samuel agreed and gave it a second chance with words 'goota dream while ur young'. As result his 'dreams' brought him almost half a million dollars.

But let’s get back to Douglas Polk and his new record. The thing is that in April. 2016 ne won a huge tournament 'Kilimanjaro' at PokerStars ($163,000). It was all on-line on Twitch.tv and that’s how a new record was born as a crowd watched him. But now the grinder has beaten his own record three times almost!

Awkward moment when the recording of this epic stream is not in the public access. So, to watch the final of the tournament you need to subscribe at Douglas’ Twitch channel for $4,99.

One record is cooler that the previous

While everyone is following WCGRider’s evolution, another American - Dan 'djk123' Kelly has set a different record. He managed to win his fifth WCOOP title - even the Shaun Deeb still has only 4 and no one else in the world got the 5th yet.

Kelly won WCOOP-49: $700 NLE (Mix-Max) with 722 registrations, ant the game moved from 8-Max to 4-Max in the final. As a result of the deal at heads-up djk123 got $88,102.

Dan is not just a strong online player, but also and live player. He has two golden WSOP bracelets.
