The thing is that WCGRider (the nickname, Douglas is famous under among poker players) set a goal to earn $10,000 starting with a $100 bankroll, as the majority of beginning online poker players does.

This is not means of earning his life, for sure, cause during his career he has already made $5,000,000. As Douglas admits, he is very motivated by the love to streams and communication with fans. This is how he is going to do both: check his abilities within current micro-limits and raise the interest of the audience to himself. Also, his willing to be closer to fans is determined by the necessity to promote his training website UpswingPoker and the community related to it.

Douglas Polk wouldn’t set the time frames for his challenge, but announced that Twitch and YouTube streams will be broadcasted every day from Sunday to Thursday at 18:00. His Twitch channel.
