PokerStars entering the Daily Fantasy Sports market

Originally the administration of the Amaya Gaming expressed interest towards fantasy sports world back at the beginning of 2015. And presently it became widely known that Amaya Gaming - the owner of the PokerStars and FullTilt assets - had acquired the platform for daily fantasy sports called Victiv.

Victiv is a Daily Fantasy Sport platform that enables every user to create a team comprised of any sportsmen and compete with other teams created by the same sports lovers. Players may either play for fun either compete for real money. DraftKings and FanDuel are acknowledged to be on the cutting edge of the market.

The Victiv project was launched last September. The head-quarters of the company is based in Austin, Texas. The company operates within over 45 states in the US. Interestingly that Daily Fantasy Sports web sites are not prohibited in the US.

After the purchase it has been consequently resolved that all the Victiv’s employees should be left in their positions. However it has been also decided to rebrand the company into the one more familiar to poker lovers - SatrsDraft. Initially, the new brand is going to be launched in several US stated and in the short run it’s planned to implode the functional into the gaming client of the poker room.

It’s also worth mentioning that the Victiv’s platform has already earned trust of the other users despite of it’s modest age.
