On July 19, 2009 Full Tilt achieved a world player quantity record: 50 000 players participated in one online tournament simultaneously. But it wouldn’t last a long time – soon it was broken by PokerStars – the main competitor of those times.

April 15, 2011 turned out to be ‘Black Friday’, since the board of directors were to prohibit the Americans playing at Full Tilt. Poker room didn’t manage to cope with cash-outs and was closed down by the United States Department of Justice. Full Tilt has been offline for 16 months, until it was acquired by PokerStars.

On November 6, 2012 Full Tilt was restarted. Currently, it continues working for new owners, that is why Full Tilt 2.0 improved!
