PokerStars and Full Tilt granted operational approval in the USA
It has recently came to light that the efforts undertaken by the administration of the Amaya (which own PokerStars and Full Tilt) to obtain the license to run gambling business in the US have finally started to pay off: the Gaming Comission, New Jersey, has accepted the request of the holding to license its business within the state.
“We’re glad the New Jersey’s council to approve the operation of our company. This is the notion that the list of our markets controlled is one-up,” shares David Baazov, the CEO of the Amaya holding.
It’s worth mention that those users from New Jersey may soon play poker for real money at two leading poker rooms in the world, though against users from the same state only.
