Duel by PokerStars was frozen

In February 2016 PokerStars introduced its new app Duel which gave players a chance to combat with star players in a new format. Even Cristiano Ronaldo advertised the game and representatives of poker room called it very promising.

However, Duel app by PokerStars failed the beta-tests. Recently the administration of the poker room announced game withdrawing due to disappointed financial expectations. Indeed, the game was absolutely unpopular among Norwegian players which were responsible for testing. After the Duel app was launched in AppStore, only a poor number of players actually used it. And that ‘handed over a barrel’ to the administration of PokerStars.

The poker room representatives commented the news in the following way:

“It’s’ absolutely normal for a product to fail beta-test. We’re hoping to get use of the experience in the future for next apps in order to guarantee our players the best apps only”.

To remind you: this app was a step-by-step poker game with an opportunity to thinks hours and even days over the decision instead of seconds. Moreover, players could take part in several games at once with a chance to invite PokerStars star players and ambassadors at tables.
