When playing cash games at one or two tables simultaneously players often have to wait long until the hand is over. This is particularly true for full ring (9-max) tables. Of course, you can always increase the number of tables and there’ll definitely never be a dull moment for you, however, if you aren’t an experienced multitabler yet, this may affect negatively you game quality and the profit as a result.

If this is the case, you can always turn to fast poker format, which has been introduced to the most of popular online poker rooms over the past time.

The format itself was initially suggested by Full Tilt (and was called Rush Poker) poker room. At those times it had exclusive rights to holds games of such format. However, once the poker room was closed after “Black Friday”, other poker rooms quickly launched their types of rush poker. 888 Poker didn’t stay on sidelines but offered type of fast poker to its players - SNAP poker.

The operational concept of SNAP-poker at 888poker is fairly simple and clear.

SNAP-poker is a fast poker format, which doesn’t make you wait until your opponents finish the hand. The matter is that after the hand is dealt, you have a “SNAP Fold” button, which enables you to put down your cards at once and transfer to another table with other opponents. Thus you can play many hands in a short period of time, choosing only rational starting hands. Note, that your opponents won’t know for certain, whether you actually put your cards down or not, as your place at the table will be reserved until the hand is over. After the hand is dealt the tables becomes dissolved and all players take new places at new tables with new opponents.

SNAP-poker at 888 Poker can be played at cash-tables along with MTT- tournaments. It’s also available in 888 Poker mobile client.

The game rules at Snap poker are no way different from classic poker. However, there’s a set of distinct features. First, you’ll become a member of a certain players’ pool in fast poker and after each hand you’ll be randomly transferred to another table with randomly selected opponents (which also have joined the pool).

SNAP-poker also offers such function as “Fold watch and play”. By pressing this button, you’ll start a new hand; nevertheless, you’ll be able to follow what actually happens at the table you’ve left.

Pressing Shift button when holding “FOLD” can activate this function.

In order to join SNAP-poker game, open your 888Poker client and click “SNAP” button in the right-hand corner.

Next choose cash-tables or tournaments. If you wish to play at cash-tables, choose one of the limits available and press the “Participate” button. By pressing “Snap-button” tab, you’ll be able to choose one of Sit&Go or MTT- tournaments. Choose the one you like and register.

As we’ve already mentioned, SNAP-poker can be played on mobile devices as well. In order to do this, choose the cash-games or tournaments section and next choose the tournament or the table according to this format.
