PokerStars outdistances its competitors in New Jersey

It took the biggest poker room something about a week to become the players’ traffic leader in New Jersey. On the first day PokerStars was launched, the poker room took the lead in the number of cash games and some days ago they outdistanced their competitors in other disciplines.

PartyPoker and 888Poker haven’t only lost their leading positions but a sufficient part of their clients as well. Starting from March 15, when PokerStars was smoothly launched, the cash games’ traffic within the state increased by 20%. Alongside, the traffic at 888Poker faced a severe decline of 30% and at PartyPoker - of 20%.

Right now PokerStars enjoys only 40% of all New Jersey traffic, but judging by the dynamic, the number will continue to rise - and this won’t be due to new players. The rivalry poker rooms consider this fact and therefore 888Poker launched new bounty system on March 28, aimed at recreational players. It’s most likely that those online poker room based in New Jersey will be facing earnest competition for their clients.
