Koovoon becomes Spin & Go millionaire number seven
It has been more than a year since PokerStars introduced its new type of tournaments – Spin&Go tourneys. In the meantime a million spin has been raffled off 12 times at different stakes. This month only the jackpot was hited 7 times. The recent million was given away last Saturday, November 21.
Another player has been turned into a millionaire through Spin&Go with a $100 buy-in. This was one of the fastest Spin&Go tournaments which lasted for 9 minutes only. It’s interesting to note that two Russians were competing for the first prize but none of them actually won.
Player from Russia, “AndyG1810”, became the runner-up and gained $100 000. His compatriot - "Play2win$1kk"- was third to leave the game and also got his consolation prize - $100 000. The whole tourney took 39 hands only.
The Canadian player "Koovoon” played the dominating role of a chip leader practically the whole tournament. With pocket jacks at the 7th hand he went double and from then neither of the opponents could stand a chance to win.
Hand №39 was the final one - "Koovoon” went all-in with A-4, "AndyG1810" called with KJ. A board of 2A636 defined the winner -"Koovoon”. This is how he became a millionaire.
As mentioned above, this was 7th million already this month. And here are the nicknames of other luckies:
- 21.10.2015 - "Samara Lúcio" from Brazil (a $5 Spin & Go)
- 22.10.2015 - "wrawras" from Brazil (a $100 Spin & Go)
- 25.10.2015 - "prophethicks" from England (a $5 Spin & Go)
- 26.10.2015 - "barrakuuda4" from Estonia (a $100Spin & Go)
- 26.10.2015 - "handbt1" from Germany (a $5 Spin & Go)
- 28.10.2015 - "ifipushud325" from Australia (a $5 Spin & Go)
This is not quite the end of Spin&Go anniversary’s celebrations: everybody is looking forward for a million to be given away in a tournament with a $0.50 buy-in.
