Douglas Polk $100 to $10 000 challenge - 10 days results
It’s been almost 20 days since Douglas Polk started his 'from $100 to $10 000 challenge'. He has already played 10 full days. In this article you can find some info on the current situation of a highroller who has set a challenge to himself.
During these days Douglas Polk had three 'minus' days (2nd, 4th and 10th). The top-result was on the 9th day of the marathon: his bankroll increased to $552 from initial $100.
The 10th day of the marathon
When he made a surge on the 9th day, Polk decided to move up the stakes and started to play cash games at NL20, he also participated in a few $10 Sit-n-Go then and in a couple of MTT. 3 hours later his bankroll dropped to $410.
Then in an hour WCGRider launched $10 Heads Up Sit-n-Go, but wouldn’t succeed again - his bankroll reached a $350 rate.
His last hope to at least maintain the bankroll was $5 MTT with $350 guarantee. But Douglas didn’t manage to get the first place: he was the third and got $69.
At the end of the day his bankroll wad $406, so he lost 25% of the bankroll he had in the beginning of his 10th day.
But Polk doesn’t lose his faith and assures the audience, that swings are a common thing in poker.
