888 Holdings plans to change the CEO

it appears that the senior stuff of 888 Holdings - the owner of 888poker poker room - is going to face reshuffling in the nearest future.

Right now the administration of 888poker is getting onto Itai Frieberger to become Acting General Director. They have to get permissions from controlling authorities of all countries of company’s residence in order to do this. That way, the current director of 888poker - Brian Mattingly - can retire from business.

Itai has been working as operations director for 4 years already and since 2005 has been a member of the board of directors (more than for 10 years).

According to 888 Holdings officials, the issue discussion will probably take the controlling authorities about several months.

The aborted deal concerning the possible merger with bwin.party was of a great blow to the development of 888. Today the company is aimed at the development towards sport bets and can compete with PokerStars which has launched its sportsbook office not very long ago.
