Nuts
Nuts in poker is a term that means the best possible hand on this specific board. The hand can be called 'nut hand' if it can’t be beaten by any other hand on the board dealed.
The term 'nuts' in poker is also used to describe the best combination of a kind (not necessarily the strongest on the texture of the board). For example, if you have and the board is , you will have nuts straight (that means there can’t be stronger straight at the current board). You won’t have nuts hand in the moment as the opponent might have a made flush. Made Ace high flush will be an absolute nuts in this instance (as it may not be beaten by some other hand).
In the poker circles those who play nuts cards only are called 'nuts lovers' or nits.
