Heads-up

Heads-up is a format of poker game when there are only two players at the table. Also, heads-up is the situation (pot) when all the players at the hand folded their hole cards and there are only two opponents left (actively involved) in the hand.

You can play heads-up at special cash tables (where only two players can play at the same time), special Sit-n-Go tournaments (Heads Up Sit-n-Go), and in tournaments (when there are two last players at the final table) in the fight for the first place and main prize.

Many professionals think that heads-up is the most pure form of poker. While playing heads-up, players open and defend extremely wide ranges of starting hands (almost all the starting hands) and can’t just sit and wait for good cards (as their stack will be 'eaten' by the blinds), so it is important to adjust to your opponent, find his weak spots and exploit them.
