Nevada and Delaware will share player pools
At the moment, online poker is legal only in a few US states, where each state has its own players’ pool that does not intersect with players from other states. But soon situation may change dramatically. According to recent information from internet, Nevada and Delaware governors agreed to create a shared pool of online poker players.
According to the governor of Nevada, the changes were planned to happen last summer, but gambling commissions have banned them, explaining that with temporary technical difficulties. Apparently at the moment these technical difficulties have been solved, and perhaps in a month or so residents of Nevada and Delaware will be able to play against each other.
According to experts, this shared player pool are unlikely to have major impact on the market of online gambling in the US, as Delaware is one of the smallest states with a population of about one million players.
Most likely the Delaware and Nevada shared players pool will be less than players pool of New Jersey, but this process may serve as a starting point for the revival of online poker in the United States.
