MPN passes iPoker to become largest poker network

It is the first time for many years that iPoker network, based on a Playtech platform, was surpassed by Microgaming in a cash games traffic intensity (Microgaming was the 4th in the world top at the previous week). This is MPN’s best result since 2010.

Thus, according to PokerScout, the average quantity of the regular players, who are online simultaneously, is 855 at MPN, when at the same time iPoker recorded 852 simultaneous players. As we can see, the difference between the traffic at these networks is very nominal, still enough for Microgaming to leave iPoker behind for the first time since 2007. Besides, then, 10 years ago, the traffic itself was much higher, exceeding the rate of 1500 regular users.

It should me mentioned, that MPN network owns about thirty poker rooms, with Red Star Poker, Triobet Poker, 24h Poker, PKR Poker and others among them.

The experts consider, that despite the difficulties MPN has been experiencing for the last few years, the network has managed to improve its position due to attractive players’ policy, profitable special offers, unique software and new brands launched.

The analysts remark, that at the end of 2015 the cash traffic of iPoker decreased by 35%, moreover, for the last 2 years the decline reached 50% rate. It’s worth mentioning, that recently there was no access to real money games in all poker rooms of the network for the players from Ukraine. The information was revealed that iPoker may possibly leave Ukrainian market. This fact may also be the reason of the popular network’s traffic decline.
