Mike Leah has won the same tournament for 3 times within 4 years
A professional poker player from Canada Mike “GoLeafsGoEh” Leah has won WPT Fallsview Poker Classic Tournament for the third time in last four years. Considering the number of participants of this event, it’s an incredible achievement, which can’t be left unmarked by his colleagues.
The WPT $1100 tournament is not among the main events of the series, though every year it gathers loads of players:
- In 2014 Mike was a champion among 649 participants ($104,465 prize)
- In 2016 among 1304 participants ($151,938)
- In 2017 WPT Fallsview Poker Classic gathered 1524 poker lovers and Leah got the first prize of $187,051
Amazing results of this kind are rarely achieved by other players on the professional poker arena. For last years only two players got similar results: Phil Ivey and his famous winnings in Highrollers Aussie Millions CAD $250,000 and Mark Newhouse who made back-to-back final tables at the WSOP Main Event two years in a row (in the 2013 and 2014 finishing 9th both times).
