Annette Obrestad becomes another Venetian Poker Room ambassador

Some days ago female poker pro Annette Obrestad from Norway is reported to become Venetian Poker Room ambassador. Venetian Poker Room belongs to Las Vegas Sands structure led by Sheldon Andelson.

It appears that one of the most famous poker professional will collaborate with the poker room which head is a hardliner against the return of the online poker to the US territory. However, it’s not for the first time when Annette Obrestad is mixed up in fishy dealings. A few years ago she was a member of Lock Poker professional team which administration cheated on a huge number of players and still owes big money to some users.

Despite such missteps, the poker career of Annette Obrestad can be described as pretty fruitful. In 2007 Annette became the youngest winner of WSOPE Main Event and brought in a little bit more than $2 million. After her triumph at WSOPE, Annette found herself in another very interesting state - the girl took the first place in Sit&Go tournament with 180 participants without even a single look at her cards.

In her native country, Annette Obrestad is considered to be one of the best poker players giving the pas to Felix Stefnson alone.
