Time bank
Time bank in poker is additional time player may use to make a decision in a hand.
Time bank is a necessity as the player has limited time for making decisions playing online poker. From time to time situations occur that the player faces difficult decisions and needs some extra time to figure out what to do.
Time bank can be used in parts until it he runs out.
There is time back in tournaments and in cash games. It is given in the beginning of the tourney or when sitting at the cash table and increased for several seconds over the certain periods of time. For instance, at the certain blinds level change in tournaments all the players who remained at the tables automatically get additional seconds to the time bank they have.
Depending on the poker room time bank can be activated manually (by pressing the special button) or automatically after the decision time runs out.
Example: 'This hand was so difficult I had to take the time bank'.
