Payout structure
Payout structure in poker - shows how the prize pool will be distributed (in percentages) between players who had reached the payzone (ITM). Payout structure also contains information about the total prize pool and the amount of places in the money.
In multi-table tournaments a winner more often gets about 25% of the total prize pool, when the remaining part of the prize pool is distributed among other players who reached the payzone.
As an example, let’s take a look at payout structures for 9-max Sit and Go tournament:
- Player, who took 1st place, will receive 50% of the prize pool
- Player, who took 2nd place, will receive 30% of the prize pool
- Player, who took 3rd place, will receive 20% of the prize pool
