Jackpot
Jackpot is a continuously increasing money prize that can be won by a player, who has completed all the conditions of winning this prize. As a rule, jackpot is given away on a special real money poker tables and is formed out of the players contributions.
There are numerous types of jackpots in poker, which differ depending on what promotions poker site is running. For example, a player can win a large cash prize by forming a specific poker combination or winning a hand with specific cards. There is also a so-called Bad Beat Jackpot, which goes to the player who has lost with a very strong hand, for example a four of a kind Kings.
On a regular basis only a few poker site are running continuous jackpots.
