Entry fee
Entry fee - is a payment for participation in a specific tournament, which does not go to the prize pool, but comes as a commission of a tournament organizer. This entry fee is already included into the buy-in. For example, if buy-in equals $10+$1, then $10 will sum up with a total prize pool, and $1 will be a pay to a tournament organizer directly.
Entry fee is also sometimes called rake.
One exception is freerolls - tournaments that allow you to participate for free without any entry fees, just by signing-up.
