Double or Nothing
Double or Nothing (abbreviation - DoN) is a type of Sit&Go tournaments in poker (usually for 6 or 10 players), the main feature of which is that the prize pool is equally distributed between top-5 (for 10max tournaments) or top-3 (for 6max tournaments) of the participants. In result, the winnings of those who are in the money are almost equal to 2 buy-ins for the tournament.
Double or Nothing - the name speaks for itself - you either double your money or get nothing at all.
There is no need to fight for the first place in DoN tournaments as the game stops as soon as the half of participants are eliminated. For this reason the play is usually tighter than in regular Sit&Gos.
