Air
Air is the term in poker that is used to describe an empty hand that has no showdown equity. As a rule, this term is associated with the bluff. This is a poker slang term for a worthless hand.
When you bet with the air, you make a bet without a made hand (with nothing), which is almost never going to win the hand if your bet will be called by the opponent.
Example: 'I bluffed with total air and won the hand'.
