Pocket pair

Pocket pair in poker is two cards of the same rank which player gets preflop as a starting hand.

For example. if the player has , he will have a pocket pair of tens.

Pocket pairs in poker can be divided into the following categories:

Weak pocket pairs - 22 to 66
Medium pocket pairs - 77 to JJ
Strong pocket pairs (premium pocket hands) - QQ to AA
