Types of freerolls in poker

There’s a pretty detailed classification of free poker tournaments in poker.

The first classification - depending on restrictions:

• Freerolls with restrictions (private freerolls, first depositors' freerolls etc.)
• Freerolls with out restrictions

Freerolls with restrictions normally require completing some prearranged conditions from the administration of poker room. Then you'll either get a ticket to freeroll, either get a password and thus get a chance to compete for a pre-set prize pool. Usually, the prize pool of such tournaments are pretty huge and vary from $100 to $10.000, however, the average prize pool equals to $1000. Freerolls with out restrictions are open for anyone who have completed the registration at the poker room beforehand.

The next classification - depending on a fee. According to this classification, freerolls can be divided into the following types:

• No deposit freerolls - free tournaments, open for any player. However, there’s one condition: you first need to register.
• Freerolls for those players, who have already made a deposit (depositors' freerolls) - is a kind of a shtick of each poker room.
